By providing a central location for community foundation financial data, CF Insights enables members to make informed decisions about their strategy and operations. Members of CF Insights receive access to comparative benchmarking data on peer foundations' finances and operating models. The peer selection process enables members to identify other foundations by name, or to search for peers using a rich set of foundation characteristics. Content areas of the database include

  • Staffing

After choosing a peer group, members can run over 55 reports on these content areas. The reports and data can be exported and included in presentations. Members can also request customized reports and contribute to the development of new reports in the database.

Members conducting a Cost-Revenue Study or Interactive Strategy Model forecasting project receive free technical assistance and customized tools.
