The Version 2.0 ESP Model toolkit provides additional forecasting detail and new peer learning opportunities.
Created by CF Insights and FSG Social Impact Advisors in partnership with the Council on Foundations’ Community Foundations Leadership Team, the ESP Model tools allow community foundations to create five-year forecasts to answer questions such as:
- When might the foundation’s assets return to pre-recession levels?
- What level of grantmaking can we expect in the next few years?
- What happens to our economics if donors behave in different ways?
- Will we have enough operating cash or are further budget cuts needed?
